@wies helped me (and by help, I mean I did a poor job and he fixed it) and it is now awaiting approval! It loads the above nether map automatically to your world! Here is the file:
Yes, NethreQuick does not get rid of this maps usefulness, it just makes it easier to download and travel to the Nether world
Woah it loads it automatically now? That's so cool! I still haven't had time, but I would eventually like to improve this map to add more features such as a mini Nether fortress or two and somehow try to implement quartz.
Oh I had no idea that PM could convert the worlds. I always hesitated but now that I know that, awesome!
What about a The End map? With the addition of endermen in 0.9.0, I'd restart my the end world generation project. After a lot of considerations, I decided that the ease of world generation can be maximized by randomizing an existing the end world. I'd use sandstone for the end stone texture and use my method of random block break denial to increase break time.
That should be no problem, I would wait for the update thou; Mojang has a tendency to add unused blocks to the games code, and update 0.9.0 could just be the update that adds "End stone" to the source. As far as generating a End map, good luck (not an easy thing to do) That would be nice, but random world generation is a tuff concept; expect a lot of work ahead of yah. Here's a concept map for The End (using Sandstone in place of End Stone). The fire on the Obsidian pillars will die out eventually, but for a minit or two it gives a close feel to the real thing.
