Before I start, I would like to say that I don't think this is posted in the right section, but I couldn't find any other section that would make sense. Many people have been requesting a nether map in the last few days to use on their PocketMine servers, so I have made a Nether map. The map currently features netherrack, gravel, mushrooms, and lava (as well as a few flowing lava portions). If you would like any additional features in the map, such as nether fortresses, random quartz blocks, or glowstone trees, just message me your request and I can make a map customized to your liking. Edit 10/12/13: The old version had soulsand in it before. A list of item IDs told me that soulsand was added to the game. I apologize for my mistake and I have replaced all soulsand portions with netherrack.
I made it or PE just in case people wanted to use it outside of PM. To use it as a PM map, just place it in your worlds file and it will automatically convert it
Just place it in your worlds file and start up your server. It will take a bit more to start up because it has to convert it but it will work just fine
No problem If you want any custom stuff added or anything, just let me know And if you want a cool way for players to "earn" the Nether, I have a modified version of the Netherquick plugin that works with API 10 (It uses a Nether Reactor instead of obsidian as a portal to the nether ). It requires a different multi-world plugin but I like it a lot better than others personally
The plugins are MultiWorld and Netherquick, both by 500ISE. He no longer works on plugins, but I can see if he would let me re-release it and update it (if I can figure out how plugins work a bit more ). Or I can try to make Netherquick to work with SimpleWorlds. I will figure it out somehow, but I would like to look into this soon
The portal plugin requires staff to make it, but with NetherQuick, players can build their own portals and earn it without needing extra permissions
Cool! I made a post in the Plugin Development section for some ideas I had. I am not good at organizing a post for others to understand, but it makes sense to me
