A new PocketMine-MP Beta Build has been released!
    Alpha_1.4dev-478 beta5, for Minecraft: PE v0.9.5 alpha

    Will plugins break?
This beta changes the API version to 1.3.1 (only fixes) so there are no notable changes for plugins. Plugins developed in a responsible way following the API are fully compatible.

Should I use this Beta Build?
There are three types of builds: stable, beta and development. A beta build is meant for test servers, and plugin developers that want a more stable environment. If you are running a production server, it's recommended to stay away from these builds. If you really want to use it, please test on a separate server before doing the changes on the server.

    Where can I submit bugs?
Please do not submit features not implemented. They will implemented in future beta builds, and doesn't help the developers. If there is a true bug you found, please submit it on the Bug Tracker. Please search in it for duplicated bugs. Do not request help or plugin support there. Provide as much information as you can, and keep titles short and informative.

    Notable changes
This build includes several performance improvements, after profiling it several times. It also fixes the issues with player movement, adds beds and furnaces. It also requires PHP 5.5 or greater, so support for Windows XP has been dropped since the last version supporting it was PHP 5.4. As the last notable change, chunk ticking has been reactivated. You might want to disable this if you do not want crop growth or grass spread to happen, or you don't need them.

    • Deprecated Server::loadPlugin(Plugin) in favor of Server::enablePlugin(Plugin)
Does that mean that the load function is unusable and plugins won't work if we use it?

In doubt, check the source code. Also, check the dictionary about "deprecation".

Soo if I am reading the change log correctly; this might not work on WinXP anymore? Would that just be due to the PHP 5.5 or other issues? I ask only because I like running servers on my remote XPpro "box".

    This is why :)

Use Linux on that box, it'll have better performance than with Windows

Why you're still using XP is beyond me, and you can't 'expect' it to be supported forever. It doesn't make sense to keep it around, so personally I wouldn't baffled if it's finally cut off. I will even be shocked if it keeps getting support.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

Windows XP was the greatest operating system that Microsoft ever made.

@shoghicp; haha ok, just wondered was all. :)
@loginphp; long story short, I upgraded to a 64bit win7 when xp support ended n it was K.I.S.S. easy for slave on home net and just been too busy/lazy to install a 64bit linux instead of the 32bit winxp. It served me well for long time though, prolly should bury it tho.... :,(

Thank You shoghicp for the hard work you are doing to get this PM stable and smooth running as quick as possible, I can't wait till levelDB support gets implemented :p

Keyword "was", and long long ago. Are we still in the past? I say ditch it and get the 'new' greatest operating system that Microsoft has ever made :)

Is Windows XP still the greatest operating system Microsoft has ever made?

Did you know the original iPod 'was' the greatest apple device ever made? But did you also know that there's a "new" greatest apple device ever made?

If you can see how that works ^_^ forgive me if I misunderstood you and I don't mean to sound like an a**, but as far as I'm aware it's no longer the greatest operating system ever made - which takes me back to my original question, why use it TODAY?. But what do I know? It's more just my opinion. Maybe it still is the best OS :s

Windows XP is still by far the best windows i ever used... Windows vista by far the worst and slowest windows ever... Windows 7 awesome but used up 1-1.5 gb of ram... Windows 8 was a complete copy off xbox live tiles smh never used that and does not support my graphics card now i have to mess around with video card properties every time i reset my laptop....

I think they just changed the function name; not sure because I can't watch the commits these days with so many spam issues that fill up my dashboard and displace the commit notices out.
