I do but I cant use it right now because im having a few issues with my internet connection.
(My internet doesnt seem to like skype right now XD)
it's just for chat there instead in the forums xD
Oh I forgot to mention I'd love to help with this, but I don't think I have experience in any of this XD I'm fairly new to coding still, and even though I know the basics of these languages, I haven't had enough time to actually work on them. I can always be a tester or give you suggestions though
I mean it wont even let me log into my skype account because of some odd glitch XD
If you have kik you can message me (Kik Name: Comedyman937)
And I'll be on Xbox LIVE all weekend too (GamerTag: Comedyman937)
(If you havent noticed, "Comedyman937" is the ONLY username i use exept for skype, i have like 2957719 accounts on there though XD)
I will put you on the list for the Beta Testers
Yay! Is your code open-source as well? Because I like to read peoples' code just to learn how it works. It usually helps me understand whatever language it is a bit more
Yes the plugin will remain open source unless there are any lines that we cant show to the public for security reasons but only said lines would be removed. The same thing goes for the Website repository in case you will want to see how we link the plugin and website together to do things. (Unless of course we have to remove lines for the same reason as above)
The plugin will be public, but has Comedyman937 said, the important lines will be hidden, and this will be hosted on a private server, most like the original BuyCraft :3
Yes I've Messaged you
What are we doing in Java?
Yeah, added you.
Plugin wise nothing. The website might need to support Java for a few functions though.
(Im not 100% sure that we WILL need it but it is possible that we might bump into that kind of issue if we went with a host that used a shared WebServer since they usually dont allow any domains associated to run it)
I believe Falk pointed out that we could just implement something like that was more reliable so we might not use RCON at all
The whole sub domain allocation and routing will need a VPS or dedicated machine. Plus, we may need some processes which persist.
Yeah, I am implementing a custom thingy which should be more secure and this way we don't need to know RCON passwords
Well I do know of a good host for that kind of system
Thats a good idea because the servers owner could keep there Rcon password secure and Buycraft would still work
What does BuyCraft do when a server is offline?
