i thought it was permanent since moderators have moved on to pmmp.gq they left the privilage for notable member to keep this desert town in some sort of good shape

but just looking at http://forums.pocketmine.net/forums/general/ shows that people have put their permission to good use(the top two deleted post and... it is not by admins!)
