PocketMine Realms has been closedWhy?
A few days ago, Mojang (developers of Minecraft: PE) asked us to end our PocketMine Realms service. He offered the ability to connect to external servers on MCPE 0.7.4.
From now on, this service will cease to work. All the data in the database will be deleted. We have set up a section in our PocketMine Forums to find and post servers, including Server Lists.
On the Minecraft: PE 0.7.4 release, PocketMine Realms has ended their services. All the data saved in the database has been deleted because that data is not used anymore and we do not want it.
You will be able to join PocketMine-MP servers using the newly added External Server list on the Play menu.
We provide some steps on how to remove PocketMine Realms and use the normal Realms.
Go to Settings ? Wi-Fi. Tap and hold your current network to bring up a menu, and select Modify.
There, select Show advanced settings, and on IP Settings, select DHCP. If you need a Static IP, set DNS 1 to 18.104.22.168 and DNS 2 to 22.214.171.124.
Open the Settings and go to General ? Profile.
Tap on PocketMine Realms and remove it tapping on the Remove button.
Go to the main screen of the Settings, then go to Wi-Fi. There, tap the blue arrow on your configured network, and edit the DNS field to have
126.96.36.199,188.8.131.52 instead of the PocketMine Realms DNS servers.
Open Minecraft: PE, and on the Main Screen, tap Play.
Tap the Edit button, on the top right corner.
A new button will appear. Tap External. It is next to the Edit button.
A new window will appear to add the server details. You will have to type all the details, the Server Name (can be anything), the Address (external IP or domain of the server), and the Port (defaults to 19132).
After you have done this, tap the "Add Server" button on the right.
The server will be shown on the top of the Play list. To join the server, tap the slot.
You can create Minecraft: Pocket Edition servers using PocketMine-MP an open-source free server software. Follow the instructions in the homepage.
